Toyota Sera
Enter a number from 01001 to 16943.

You don't need to pick your exact city or town if you don't want to. Pick one that's as close or far as you are comfortable with. But please pick one!

Enter the date you acquired this Sera (if you're not sure, give your best guess, that's OK).
Enter the date you sold this Sera or it was destroyed (if you're not sure, give your best guess, that's OK).

After adding your vehicle, click on it in the table at the top of the page. You will be able to add photos from there!

  • What if I sell my car? - - Well, it would be nice if you edited your entry to list that it is no longer in your possession, and when you sold it, but you don't have to. Another person can actually add the same Sera, with the same serial number. It won't erase your entry. If you click on a serial number in the table of Seras, and there are other owners, buttons will appear allowing you to go backwards and forwards through the other owners. Only the latest one appears in the table and on the map, however.
  • How do I see the cars? - - You must be logged in. If you don't have an account, it is easy to do so, just hit the "Login or Register" button to create an account for the SeraDB website.
  • Why should I enter my Sera here? - - You are under no obligation to provide any information at all. Use this website only if you want to share information about your Sera. You can also just choose to share as little information as you want. Location is a required field, for mapping purposes, but you don't need to use your exact town. You can choose a nearby town. We won't know! But, clearly, the idea here is to find other Sera owners near you (and to let them find you), perhaps for meetup purposes. Right now there's no way to contact other owners through this website, but you can reach out on Facebook, through one of the Sera owner groups there.
  • When I try to enter my Sera, my town isn't listed! - - Not every town in the world is included. Just larger locations, so you might need to pick a nearby town, instead of your actual town. Think of it as added privacy!
  • My Sera doesn't show up on the map exactly where I want it! - - See the prior question. On the map, your Sera is placed at the spot that is considered the center of the town you picked. As said above, not every town is in the list of selectable towns. Think of this as a privacy feature! You can show people somewhat close to where you actually are, which is good for organizing meetups and such, but not exactly where you are.
  • What are you doing with this data? - - See the terms of service, data deletion instructions, and privacy policy down at the bottom of the page for more information. But, basically, your data is your own. None of this data is sold to anyone. You can delete your data whenever you want.
  • I put in the date I got my Sera incorrectly, how do I fix it? - - Unfortunately, that's not an editable field, for technical reasons. You need to add a new entry (just go down to "Add Sera" and add it with the same serial number but the corrected date). Then you will have two entries for the same Sera. Then, you can delete the incorrect one, once you're happy that you've copied over all the data you want to.
  • When you first load the page, where is the map starting? - - That's Toyota's HQ in Japan. Once the table of Seras loads, however, the map will pan to the location of the first Sera in the table. Also, you can click on any Sera in the table, and it will reposition the map to that Sera instantly.
  • I let the page sit for a while, and now it seems broken when I try to do anything - - Your login may have expired, and the page doesn't really detect that situation well (yet). Just refresh the page, and then login again.
  • I want to contact you! - - Send email with bugs or feature requests to info@seradb.com
